So, I have no prior exposure to Troma Entertainment, but one of my absolute favorite reviews is a crossover from Brad Jones (The Cinema Snob) and Kyle Kallgren (Oancitizen).  If you have no interest in Troma films, or don’t know what they are, I highly suggest watching this just for pure entertainment value of how ridiculous this film really is.  Apparently Jay from Red Letter Media also really like this film, so I was even more interested in actually watching the real thing when given the opportunity.  This thing has those hilarious stock sound effects throughout, some pretty raunchy scenes, and ridiculous action in all it’s z-grade goodness.  I know for a fact that I wouldn’t have enjoyed this at all had it not been for that fantastic review.   Oh, and fun fact, I guess James Gunn in an uncredited director of this film!  And now I know why Red Letter Media uses the “breaking pot” sound effect so much (if anyone knows what it’s actual name is called that would be great).  My suggestion….skip the film, and just watch the review.

I made this gif from the review…where they are condescendingly clapping for the actors using actual Shakespeare dialogue in this ridiculous film.  Feel free to use it if you find the right situation.

2011 was the year I became a self-proclaimed cinephile.

2012 was the year I watched 366 new films that I had never seen before.

2013 was the year I started the 222 movie challenge and began making gifs for my blog.

2014 is the year I keep up my challenges and start tackling more filmographies and "classic films."

Feel free to send me any movie suggestions! I'm always on the lookout for follower favorites.

Each month I change up the profile & sidebar pictures to a favorite film. Since I started making gifs, I thought I could be a bit more creative and add some visual interest month by month.

This month's film is In the Mood for Love
